Elmo at the reception early Monday morning for our departure shared some good info on the property, so we would encourage friends and family to use the premises in the future. "Room modern and well designed. We arrived late in the afternoon (well past the check in time) and had to wait our room for almost an hour (to make sure that was “ready ready”). On the contrary, no late check in available for us the following day. When in the main pool, we had to ask for towels and water multiple times before the service provided."

"L’scale Marina and Resort was a wonderful understated property just across from Eden Island in Mahe. Though apparently the property is over 3 yrs old, it feels as if it’s brand new. It is a small boutique resort on the marina, with a pool, resturant, and lovely spa. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Very quiet and in walking distance of small mall on Eden Island. Highly recommend,"

"This is a very beautiful property. All rooms have a view of the ocean. We stayed in a more economical room and it was like staying in a tree house, so cool. Very nice breakfast as well. Keep in mind, there is not a big area for lounging on the beach here, but there is access to the ocean and a small beach. For a bigger lounging area you will need to go to a nearby beach (there is a shuttle)."

"The island is wonderful, everyone is friendly, the villas are neat, clean, the food in restaurant is very expensive. Lack of animation, the open bar on the beach is closed, there is no waiter. No type of entertainment is offered within the hotel. The first two days are pleasant silence and peace, but already on the third day it lacks a little liveliness. Mosquitoes are a separate story. If someone is coming, let them provide themselves with the best protection against mosquitoes. You must visit...
