"Spent 4 nights in the hotel, 3 issues faced for a 5star hotel, internet was weak, tv had no Netflix or amazon prime application, they refused to bring a microwave to my suite as well as refused to warm my meals unless it was purchased from their restaurant lol."

"I loved the attention to detail in the room. Chocolate on the desk next to the bed, cabinet to enclose the mini fridge and snacks, bottled water, ice already in the ice bucket, slippers by the bed and a personal message on the tv when I walked in. It was elegance through and through. The staff were amazing and it was only a two minute walk from the O.R. Tambo Airport. My only regret is that I didn’t arrive until 8:15pm and had to leave by 8:30am the next morning to catch another flight. I...

"I’ve been pretty much in all the hotels in Melrose Arch and the African Pride is hands down my favorite option. The hotel has a unique character that goes beyond its infrastructure and decor, it goes all the way through the astonishing training of its staff. The people at the African pride is by far the best I’ve experienced at the Marriott network at a global level. We’re definitely will become regulars while in town and highly recommend to anyone travelling to Johannesburg."

"Its a lovely hotel and the location is great. Just feel the some updating in the rooms is required in terms of the drawers and cupboards being chipped or broken, all lights not working. Other than that great hotel."
