"What can I say other than I would love to return year after year to this place. From the staff who greeted us to the ranger and tracker who accompanied us in open Land Rovers on our small group safaris, every single person gave us care, attention and made us feel so very welcome. We saw amazing wildlife (6 of the Magnificent Seven), and even did some exciting off-roading in pursuit of a glimpse of the rarely seen African wild dogs who were running in a pack. "It was the most amazing 5-star experience anyone could ever want! Gary and Jo are so very sweet, and it was honestly one of the best experiences ever :) I'm very thankful that I found this hidden gem ride inside Kruger. "The location is wonderful with game regularly visiting the river from the Kruger opposite. When we arrived, about a dozen elephant were wading across and hippo were wallowing. The rooms each have their own private terraces where fires are lit each night, and open up into a lovely common area where birds and the 3 incumbent nyala are encouraged. Meals are served on your terrace, ask if you want tea or coffee delivered with breakfast rather than make your own from the room tray. Rooms are comfortable, it's about 15min drive to Melelane gate."
