The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Marisa who recommended the zucchini pizza at the restaurant around the block. The room was fine, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was laid out the grand ballroom and there were many options to choose from in the buffet. We felt very well cared for from start to finish. "Hotel Eremo is a former monastery. You are greeted immediately by name by the friendly staff. The property is serene, dining is available outside in a courtyard, at the pool, in your room. There is an amazing breakfast buffet. There is a spa or cooking classes by the chef which need to be reserved in advance. It is necessary to have a car to visit the beach or surrounding towns. We also drove to the oldest winery in Sicily for a tour, tasting, and lunch."

"This is a stunningly beautiful property set in many acres of land, an estate planted with olive and almond trees together with vineyards. A series of one story buildings in the estate house the rooms/suites. A central building (pictured) houses the reception, a dining room and an area by the pool. Separately in the grounds there’s a lovely al fresco dining area for evenings. It’s situated in the countryside and is about a 20 minute drive to the city of Noto. "
