"This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying."

"Had to wait over an hour past posted check in time. Was told some story about the AC, but, seems it was housekeeping as the floors were wet when we finally checked in. Room was run down..biggest issue was that neither of the two showers drained properly. In fact, sewage came up and created an offensive odor. "We stayed at the Frangipani Tree for 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful even before we arrived, helping to book a car from the airport. It is a two hour drive form the airport but the roads are very good and there is lots to look at on the way. On arrival you can relax with a drink and admire the scenery. "It was the worst hotel experience we had ever. Rooms were full with mosquitos,bed linen and pillow case covers was not changed when we arrived and they changed them after we checked in to the room and they sprayed bugs spray all over and it was difficult to breathe. It was raining and that room's electricity went off 4 times and each time it went to we had to run to the reception to inform them as they did not pickup phone. Beautifully and sleekly designed hotel with very large rooms that have high ceilings and unbelievable floor to ceiling windows with views of the beach and ocean. Waking up to that view was a joy!
