"We arrived 7 hours late and at 2AM due to issues with weather for the flight. We were greeted kindly at the front desk by a gentleman who checked us in quickly and even gave us a free room upgrade to a poolside villa . The hotel is beautiful as well as the grounds and every area of the hotel is clean. The pool and beach staff are readily available to provide towels and set up chairs and all staff members we encountered were kind. "Great resort and pool area. We were not aware the beach was considered public property and not maintained by the hotel- although they offered chairs and cabanas. The water was rougher than expected and an unusual amount of seaweed from El Niño."
