"The staff at this hotel were attentive and professional. The neighborhood is a bit rough, but okay for going out in the day time. My only complaint about the hotel is that it allows smoking in the patio bar on the roof. Other than that, I believe it is a non-smoking establishment. I wish they'd take that last step. You will not find a space in Athens where you can breathe fresh air. Everyone Smokes. Everywhere. We went to the rooftop bar and ordered $50 worth of cocktails for our group. One...

"This hotel is very convenient to Acropolis. Front desk helpful. Nice view from rooftop restaurant. On the other hand…Room had no view, notwithstanding photo when I chose room. Had balcony, unable to open, asked but no one came to help, I gave up too easily. No safety features in tub/shower like bath mats and grab bars. Breakfast buffet was a disorganized stampeded."

Think the location of the hotel isn’t as close to the metro, still ok if you’re planning on visiting around that area. "We were given room 802 by a very nice lady when we checked in. The room was perfect it had a great view of the Acropolis. The staff and this hotel deserve 5 stars. It’s in a great location. Every one was very nice and went above and beyond. We checked out of the hotel at 3:00 am to catch our flight. We were given breakfast boxes. I love this hotel and highly recommend it."

"I went back into a reservation to see if breakfast was included and found out that we were supposed to get a room upgrade and a bottle of wine. The hotel also said that it was very quiet and our room was nothing quiet It sounded like we were beside a raceway all night long. Our bed was just two twin size beds setting 1 in apart we slept sideways so they didn't scoot apart. "

"This place is lovely! First of all, it’s a <5 minute walk from the Monastiraki metro station. The staff are all incredibly warm and lovely and knew me by name by the end of my five night stay. The breakfast bar is incredible (try the cinnamon-ginger iced tea!). The only issue was that their room service chef was out sick during my stay so I had to order delivery from outside, but I absolutely don’t hold that against them because hey, it happens to all of us.
