"The property is on a secluded beach about a half hour from Kona. The Gold Orchid Lounge was really nice and included breakfast and appetizers as well as juice, coffee and water. Most of the staff were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The beach was a great place to watch sunset. It is close to Blue Hawaiian helicopter tours. We tried the restaurant Brown’s beach house. The ambiance with live music was nice. "

"The Fairmont Orchid is a lovely property, well groomed with waterfalls, koi ponds and beautiful flowers and trees all around. At night we fell asleep to the waterfall, in the morning we woke to birdsong. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Learning our names and engaging with us. Having the Gold experience provided us with a more dedicated concierge team, breakfast and canape which was all fresh prepared, local and delicious. Among the Gold experience staff, we engaged a lot with Samuel, Kacia and Lisa who all ensured our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We look forward to returning to Hawaii and the Fairmont Orchid."
