Learn more about Great Tey

Head to Colchester Zoo and Layer Marney Tower—just two of the sights around Great Tey.

St. Barnabas; the parish church of Great Tey This is a view from the northwest. The nave was demolished in 1829 and now the church just has a stump of a nave as it is shown in the picture, being the section to the right of the tower nearest the pathway. The church is very impressive and must have been even more so before the nave was pulled down.
