Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. "Our stay was amazing. The staff were exceptional, very attentive and so friendly. We enjoyed several meals at the hotel as well as a local wine tasting. When we travelled into Ragusa for dinner they arranged a taxi for us. Special details; lovely welcome drinks, adorable animals (the owners dog Max was a delightful surprise) and the staff were extremely patient with me practising my Italian. Could not recommend more - the incredible value was a delightful perk but frankly we would have happily paid more for such a great time. "
