"The hotel was lovely and clean and the food was always fresh and a very good selection. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We stayed in a penthouse suit which we felt could have been a bit bigger and we also had to get 2 x lifts and 2 x small flights of stairs to get to our room from the pool area.
We also had a problem with one of the lifts which got stuck in between floors. We were with 4 other people for about 15 to 20 minutes which was extremely hot and uncomfortable and quite...
"Fabulous staff, always willing to help. Food is amazing including the evening buffet. Only problem was our air conditioning didn’t work but it wasn’t a huge problem. Pools were a little too cold but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Was great to spend the day at Avali hotel too! Would highly recommend both hotels."
"Amazing hotel, brilliant staff, great food options and a very peaceful atmosphere. The gym, spa and beach were all great, very clean, good-sized room with very comfortable bed. We particularly loved the Pilates classes taught by Vanessa and the hotel even surprised me with a delicious birthday cake on my birthday. We had a wonderful stay and plan to visit again!"
"The property was beautiful! And the service amazing - we arrived late from the airport and they allowed us to eat before checking in then proceeded to deliver a charcuterie platter to our room for a midnight snack. Top notch!"
"It is a beautiful setting. The hotel is relatively small but the villas are nicely placed and the pool and bar areas are very nice. The sea is very pleasant with a fine rocky almost sandy beach easily accessible. Sun loungers on the beach are not available but there are enough sun loungers in the surrounding spaces with a sea view so that is OK. There were no water sports eg kayaking available although the hotel next door has a couple of paddleboards you can hire. The sea swimming area is...
"The staff and the facilities were absolutely fantastic. Never met such friendly and helpful people at a hotel before. The kitchen was excellent and perfect choices every day. The only downside is the location; when booking a ‘mountain view’ room or suite, be aware that it will be facing a busy road. If you sleep with your windows closed - fine. With an open window, it will be noisy. But the people there made our stay as pleasant as they could - thanks a lot!"
"The staff was fantastic and the view from the hotel is really nice. We felt very relaxed and well cared for while onsite. Unfortunately, I came down with terrible food poisoning the last night I was there which was an awful way to end the trip. Luckily my husband and I ate different things for dinner that night and he did not get sick."
"Excellent hotel, very helpful and friendly staff.
Definitely would stay here again.
My only disappointment was the hotel spa which doesn't belong to hotel but is onsite and offer services whilst you are at pool. I booked 2 treatments and they asked for payment upfront (whilst booking you in while you are relaxing at pool). Unfortunately I went for my treatments and they only did one, claiming I hadn't got them both booked - even though I gave the receipt to spa manager and was fully paid. They...
"Was fantastic, the staff brilliant the food quality amazing. We did eat in 2 of the restaurants but the buffet was the best I’ve had for an all inclusive. I know some people have mentioned not on the beach it’s a 2min walk max from the exit of the resort where the bar is so yes a small walk to get a drink. But on the beach the hotel has its own sun beds and area. I would say only fault but understand at the restaurant not all options include and extra charge for those options they give a 30%...
"Kein 5-Sterne-Standard
"I was quite disappointed with my room as well as the service of the staff upon my arrival to Valmar Corfu. When I first entered my hotel room, I did not like the smell...it was mildewed-like and not something I could tolerate. I addressed my concern with the front desk and the lady assured me that someone would come up to inspect it but no one ended up coming. I also found small bugs in the bed, in the television converter, as well as on the small island above the mini-fridge. I ended up...
