"Really liked this hotel and would definitely return. It’s a fairly new hotel about 10 mins away from Porto Downtown area. Beautiful room and staff very friendly. My only concern is that the waiting staff in the restaurant do not speak very good English. First morning our coffees did not arrive. Second morning my omelette did not arrive and bacon, sausage, Frittata were cold due to sitting around for too long. Whilst each time an apology was made I do believe this service can be made much better very quickly. Also on day three I ordered an eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine arrived. Total waste of time and effort. Such a shame the food description had not been correct. Huge thanks to Pablo, Daniella and Patricia Concierge staff who were absolutely first class. "

"Dazzling views and an incredibly comfortable room. Lovely staff, amazing breakfast. Across the river from Porto with a beautiful view of the city. Dinner at the Gastronomic was remarkable and certainly earned their 2 Michelin stars! I wish they had a water bottle refill station in the lobby instead of needing to use single use bottles constantly. The bistro lunch menu has very limited options for vegetarians. "
