"We had a wonderful time at the resort. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. The amenities at Club Rio are great too. We repeated some of the activities because of how much fun we had. The only thing they could improve is the food. Food is not great at the hotel and it’s expensive."

"Pricy hotel/resort. For the price, breakfast is not included and they charge $25 per person. Staff were uninterested in providing help. Shuttles were quick and prompt. The view is not great either. Overall just an okay experience."

"This property is stunningly beautiful. All staff were so kind and helpful! We had our teenage daughters with us, I dont think it is the best place for kids - little to do overall. But we had a nice time. We did the ficus excursion and though it was pricey, it was fantastic! Everyone was very helpful and the food and drinks, though pricey, were delish! Highly recommend, especially for a couple. We did stay in the main lodge under the dining area - the downfall there was the noise from the chairs...

"The property was beautiful and very maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Air conditioning was great. The heated plunge pool was amazing. The staff are all helpful and polite. The food and drinks were all delicious and big portions. My favourite part was being in the middle of nature and being able to see some of the incredible wildlife that Costa Rica has. This place is a wonderful place to relax. We definitely didn't want to leave because we loved it so much."

"Absolutely amazing resort and stay. The staff are so attentive to your needs and beyond friendly. The grounds were beautiful and everything was clean. The resort’s attention to detail is impressive. I would 100% recommend this resort. It’s going to be hard to find another resort like this one - it just set the bar extremely high."

"Incredible property. Exactly as pictured. If you’ve ever been on a 5 star African safari this is the Costa Rican equivalent. Only disappointment was our room didn’t have a volcano view as pictured but the room was incredible nonetheless and the main dining and pool area had a great view of the volcano. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!"

"Had a lovely stay. All of the staff are wonderful and so accommodating. They go out of their way to make for a special stay. Grounds are immaculate. Loved seeing all the wildlife."
