It is a small paradise that has an infinity pool with an ocean view, amazing gardens, indoor pool, great staff, and really restaurants with amazing views of the ocean. It is located very close to Calheta sandy beach. It is highly recommended if you would like to have a calm and picturesque stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Madeira. "Big hotel. Big rooms. Great pools. Modern, with conference style feel. Remarkable buffet, no need to go up the road and pay extra. Chocolate fountain on two nights. No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "
