"This property is brand new and exactly as described. The management staff were superb and assisted us in some issues we had with an excursion we booked and even got us a refund of 50% which we didn’t expect. The room is stunning & the view… well that can’t even be described!"
"The staff was amazing and the grounds are wonderful. There is a great path from the hotel down to the lake that I wished we knew about earlier in our visit. It was helpful and allowed a little exercise in between shopping, boating and eating.
I did not find the bed or the linens to be particularly comfortable the bed didn’t have a top sheet which was unusual. I also wish the hotel shuttle ran a bit more consistently during the day because taxis are very expensive for just a short drive....
"Boutique Hotel Villa Sostaga was the highlight of our trip to Italy! The property was exceptional, and the staff were absolutely amazing. The breathtaking views of the lake and the outstanding food exceeded all our expectations. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to returning. A truly unforgettable experience!"
"Vi hadde en juniorsuite med to terrasser. Det var nydelig utsikt mot Gardasjøen. Rommet var stort med kun taklampe og en lampe på hver side av dobbeltsengen. Gulvet knirket noe alldeles forferdelig. Det samme med badedøren. Det var ikke tilstrekkelig med lys på badet og ikke skål til å legge såpestykket på. Det fantes ikke et eneste speil til å se seg i helfigur."
"I haven't stayed in this hotel since 2012 and I must say its an incredible property in the perfect setting. However, on the first night we witnessed the restaurant staff have an absolute meltdown, it was embarrassing for all involved. The GM apologised and after that day everything was reasonably normal, however, there was an issue, and we never went back in the evenings. The main restaurant (Oseleta) on the other hand was truly exceptional, which is why it now has a Michelin star... The food...
"Nice hotel, open to families with young children. The room was great with a separate area for our son and the staff very kind and reactive (including. on WhatsApp). We also enjoyed the restaurant and thought the half board option was great value for money.
The only few downsides were:
- the hotel say they have all required equipment for children (e.g. stroller) which is the case, but surprisingly we had to pay an extra for it (wasn’t so clear on the website)
- the view was a bit disappointing:...
