The hotel is located in a middle of countryside and well positioned to visit several places, but you will need a car for travel. The amenities are well kept and the staff were amazing, friendly and courteous. "Really wonderful hotel, three nights here provided an amazing opportunity to relax. Wonderful area by the pool and fantastic seaview restaurant. Very welcoming staff and lovely clean rooms. Short walk to a small town with great restaurants, although you're well provided for at the hotel. Nearby is the iberostar where we also considered staying, which has a great rooftop bar worth visiting, but overall very glad that we stayed at the Grand Leon because the overall atmosphere and space to unwind...

"Great shower, wifi worked everywhere, no stress. Only thing to note is that the breakfast starts at 8 am so if you're an early riser getting breakfast early isn't an option. The pool closes at 7 pm which is also good to know so if you want to catch a swim before dinner that's key."
