"Everyone went above & beyond . The owner & all the staff especially the young woman managing the restaurant. The place is beyond cute . The owner is an artist . I stayed at resort the whole time to relax . I ate all my meals there & I am a foodie & they were all excellent. Something for everyone . My room was on the water with big glass sliding doors & A/C. Good for families & couples & singles of all ages . Wonderful."
"I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience."
"Lovely location and friendly and sttentive staff throughout our stay. Good quality and variety of food along with convenient and efficient room service. Would highly recommend"
"Great place to stay!! Loved everything about it. It's in the jungle, so there's animals around. Monkeys, frogs, sloths, and others. Breakfast is delicious 😋 staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. The beach is right across the street with plenty of food options around. Would absolutely recommend!"
"Caracol was rustic but magical. The staff was lovely and it’s so peaceful surrounded by water. Being able to step off my private dock and swim was a delight, and I spent lots of time in my hammock. The restaurant was tasty and the staff was helpful for arranging boat transfers if you wanted to go places."
"Best thing was the staff. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Attentive, helpful and flexible. Because of them, i look forward to going back.
Beach Pool could use better cleanup. There were old plastic cups and dead insects in the drainage. But that is an exception to a well maintained property."
"Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden.
De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand."
"The Bungalows is an excellent place for vacation -both couples and families like. I would love to come back with kids and grandchildren, so they can enjoy the beach, the jungle, the pool, the playground ping-pong, billiards, foosball, just the grounds in general. The staff was absolutely delight and many spoke English. They were only a couple of minor issues, e.g one electrical outlet didn’t work.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay."
"an exceptional wellness hotel, small in size and giant in exceptional and Service and Luxury and the things you can’t buy like peace and quiet and freedom from screeching, ill-mannered young children.
It was an added bonus to find out the hotel was child-free. We have stayed at some amazing luxury properties, but the bug bear is always the screaming children and I’m talking, screaming and howlering and racing around and hogging all the attention and the parents do nothing but look at their...
"We stayed for four nights in the jungle lodge with ocean view. The lodge and view were excellent. The lodge is rustic but comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, clean bedrooms and bathroom. We got a kick out of the outdoor showers! The staff were helpful and attentive, however, the primary way of communicating is via WhatsApp and the responsiveness and clarity could use improvement. The pool, beach and zipline are all worthwhile experiences. The hotel staff will help you reserve...
"El desayuno incluido tiene pocas opciones de proteínas y cuando el hotel esta lleno, no hay para todos la fruta y refresco natural, asi como los panes, personalmente preferia la opcion tipo buffet que tenian antes. Aparte de esto, el personal es excelente!"
"Great room overlooking the water with a nice comfortable covered balcony. Right in the middle of many bars restaurants and shopping. All of the staff were super friendly!"
"Hotel is great, just a little bit too far from town.
Asked for some ice and was never delivered, also told me they charge a cork fee for my wine to open in my room."
