"Great location "

"The restaurant leaves much to be desired. My steak was on the tough side and at least 1/3 was fat. As far as the breakfast buffet, that was even worse. The place was understaffed, you literally have to get up and chase down a waiter to order your eggs which once they arrive are stone cold. The bread products everyday are stale, dry and tough In short the hotel’s gastronomy is very disappointing experience right down to the wobbly, useless bamboo prongs at the breakfast buffet. "

"As a former monastery, this is a really cool place to stay. It is very close to the beginning of the aqueduct as well which takes you down to the central core. Easily walkable to all the interesting sites. The history and ambiance is something to experience. The menu in the restaurant was awesome with good service. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Happily stay again."

"Expedia let us down...searched for hotel with indoor pool. Candido has one, but inside the spa which is closed Monday-Tuesday. I searched for indoor pool for a Tuesday night stay. Expedia should not have shown the hotel. Though what hotel says they have a kid friendly pool and have it closed two days a week?"

"Terrible facilities; desperately in need of renovations. Bathroom floor was in cement painted in a gray color; no tiles. The shower drain was not fixed to the floor. The air conditioner was in a vwry poor condition and dirty. Very poor breakfast options. Elevator needs attention. Advertised as a 4 star hotel for Europe standard,, but at best, it would be a 2 star hotel for Europe standard. Not recommended"
