"Wasn’t disappointed, booked this as it had good reviews and all I can say is they are all true. Staff are so friendly it was lovely. Room had everything that you could need. We had a room overlooking the car park. (Plenty of free parking for residents) We could hear the road, however, we had the window open as we were very warm and it wasn’t busy overnight. Breakfast was very nice, fresh and plenty of it. We didn’t eat in the evening, however if breakfast is anything to go by we will be on our...
"A reminder that you don’t get a lot for your money these days. Twin room - cheap narrow beds, very noisy plumbing system in the room and from other rooms, noisy outside, tiny shower. Included breakfast not worth mentioning."
"I would like to have given the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel 5 stars. However, I have only given it 4 stars because the main hotel description on Expedia is inaccurate. It says "this hotel sits directly on a pebble beach....". It does not. It is situated about 3 minutes walk from the beach, 75 feet above sea level on the adjacent hillside. "A very disappointing stay.

As the hotel was fully booked we had to tolerate this very small room with four steps up to the bathroom and really not enough room for two people. The room in no way bore any resemblance to...
"Beautiful location. Ideally situated for the South West Coastal Path. Lovely pub atmosphere with a good restaurant. Local beer. Staff were helpful on site. Parking.
Room was cosy but had everything that you needed. Lovely shower."
"What a wonderful find this hotel was.
Lovely and clean and safe, which is essential for a solo lady traveller.
An easy walk into the beautiful Sidmouth too.
Thankyou for such an enjoyable stay."
"Beautiful setting, full of character. Wonderfully welcoming and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast! The regular menu is also excellent. A nice respite in a busy world!"
"No dislikes with anything at the Dukes and always love staying there. Bed superbly comfortable.
One little niggle not quite ready for winter duvets but forgot to ask for something lighter"
