"Edge of city centre with own underground parking. I used all the time but no space reservations taken. Would have been more challenging to find alternative parking just off the ferry. Worked out I suspect due to the EUR 32 per day charge putting some off. Breakfast great. Good location for accessing city attractions walking."

"Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Like everywhere in the whole city, service doesn’t come quick but it was an enjoyable stay in the second building across from the main hotel. Comfy, modern rooms, very good bed. Ideally located. Probably as good as it gets as you are one minute walk from the main canal with all you need for bar/restaurants etc all with a few minutes walk from there. It’s a fabulous city and the hotel is ideally placed to pop in and out of during a day of wandering around "

"The staff super nice and helpful. The train is just a couple of minutes walk away and takes you straight into town. The food and coffee were great. The esthetics of the hotel are on the older side but it was very clean so I did not mind. I think the only negative is the loop driving around to get to the hotel. The signs aren’t the greatest so you may miss it the first time. This is not the hotels fault though so nothing negative really to say about this place. "

We arrived at the hotel rather late - too late for to dine out - and the staff at the front desk helped us order delivery, even placing the order for us through the deliveroo app when it would not allow us to do so with a US phone number (thank you, Dante!). We had a large suite, which worked well for our family of 5. The bar was open until midnight every night, and so my husband and I were able to bring drinks to our room once we were settled in. ...

"Nice receptionists. The housekeeping collects all dirty dishes and glasses from the customers on a table in the corner near the elevator and they leave it there for days... we have never seen that especially not in (normally very clean) Van der Valk hotels..."
