"Friendly staff at check in. It was Memorial Day weekend and our room wasn’t quite ready yet when we arrived at 5pm, but my girlfriend and I were each given a free drink voucher for the hotel bar which we were cool with. Didn’t have to wait around long either - like 15 minutes. Room was nice and comfy. Easy walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops around Las Olas. Fun property to explore. "This resort is the absolute BEST in Hollywood beach! My husband and I frequent South Florida and ever since we found the Diplomat we stay here as long as they have availability for us. The accommodations are next level- truly a resort, not just some hotel. From the helpful and friendly nature of the staff, to the amazing restaurants on site and the amazing pool/beach area- you will NOT be disappointed here!"

"I’ve been visiting the hotel with my kids for the last 7 years and the main reason is the water park, always included with the reservation, in this case after booking a suite only have access for the water park for 2 person and have to pay for 3."

"The hotel staff were all extremely helpful. The pool and rooftop club amenities were great and the beach is right at the end of the block. Great view and tiki hut beach staff were also very helpful. Always can find a chair and an umbrella if needed. Nice cabanas too if you want one. And, you can always find music and good food in walking distance on the boardwalk and nearby."

"The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. However, the inside of the shower could have been more thoroughly cleaned around the edges. The towels need fabric softener. The food at the outside cafe is terrible and expensive. There are several restaurants conveniently located outside the resort that serve delicious food at a much lower prices. The resort should consider changing the space to a spa leasing to a good franchise,or consider using the space for nightly entertainment....

"Room was clean. Breakfast was good, but coffee in the room was a waste. Free parking was a perk and lovely shops nearby were really nice. Restaurant staff were lovely. All in all, pretty good."
