"Another fantastic stay at the Radisson Blu which would recommend.
Quiet, spacious rooms, with excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, TV and fridge.
Really nice swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
Bar and restaurant very relaxing setting to spend the evening after a busy day,
Breakfast was excellent which catered for every different taste."
"If your looking for an overrated hotel then this is your place!!! Dated old dirty pillows, hair in the bed, chips in the mirror bed so uncomfortable you might aswell sleep on the floor dirty towels, don't get me started on the parking fee aswell, 9 pound!
Reception staff on arrival grumpy as hell!
Reception staff when leaving very nice and helpful shame they wasn't working when we arrived!
Overall wished we had just booked a Premier inn that worked out cheaper with decent beds aircon and all that...
"The Holiday Inn had everything we needed for a one-night stay near Southend.
The staff were great, room was very clean and overall, the Hotel had a relaxed, friendly vibe about it.
I would definitely stay there again when visiting the area."
"Friendly check in. Room was spotless as was en suite shower room and both spacious. Continental breakfast was basic but absolutely adequate. On the whole good value for money."
"The staff are excellent and helpful. The rooms are somewhat small, even the deluxe. Despite it being recently refurbished there are stains on the carpets throughout. They may have been better served with easy clean flooring. Parking is an issue unless you are lucky.
We had a good nights sleep but the rooms are very warm."
"Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious.
Breakfast was also very good with a good and varied choice on the menu. Toast was available on...
"Stayed here several times before and always really pleased with the quality and attention to detail. Sadly this stay fell way short!
For the price paid for room only I would expect more! Poor lighting, no full length mirror and blind that were broken!
Would take a lot to make me return!"
