"This was my first time visiting Bali, and staying at Onyx was a great experience. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and responsive whenever we had a request.
The restaurants within the hotel were also very good, with great food and a nice atmosphere. I didn’t personally use the spa during my stay, but it looked beautiful and well maintained.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Onyx and would definitely consider staying here again on a future...
"Everything here was excellent, especially the service and staff. Close enough if you want day trips around Ubud, but secluded enough to have peace and tranquility while you enjoy the many onsite activities, pools, restaurant, or spa. Note there are hills and stairs, but also buggies that will bring you most of the way! No regrets for splurging on luxury…"
"This place was really nice, very friendly.. I do want if you choose the villa, the bathroom is somewhat outside. So if you’re scared of lizards, frogs & other type of bugs coming in, book a room inside.. Overall very nice place to stay. Will be booking again!"
"We have found our little piece of heaven.
From the minute we arrived to a lovely welcome and tour of the beautiful hotel and facilities to the moment we left two weeks later it’s been outstanding in every way.
Our Butler Valley Pool Villa was amazing with its own pool sitting amongst the jungle with the river running in the background was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping team morning and night, they were all so friendly helpful and unobtrusive
The whole hotel staff knew our names and...
"We stayed at 4 hotels in Bali and this was the BEST! Super good deal for the luxury you get, everything was WOW and the food at their restaurant was amazing. The only bad thing was that the hot water in the shower would run out after a few minutes, you’ll have to wait for it to heat up again."
"Beautiful property. Rooms are large, well appointed and super clean. The grounds are perfectly maintained and stunning. There are no words for the elephant encounters. Washing, them, swimming with them, feeding them and having them come to your actual room for fruit are very special experiences. The staff are super helpful ,friendly and very knowledgeable .Dining is excellent . We’ll worth a visit and a stay at the lodge."
"An absolutely wonderful stay! We stayed for 3 nights and were impressed not only by the beautiful hotel, but above all by the incredible staff.
I travel frequently for work, have visited over 63 countries, and have stayed in many excellent hotels across Europe, but I have rarely experienced such genuine warmth, care, and hospitality.
Every single person we met—from reception and restaurants to housekeeping, gardening, yoga, and the entrance team—went above and beyond to make us feel truly...
"We tried not to nitpick as hotel is new. But by the end of our 4 nights stay, we were really disappointed. This is not an establishment living up to Accor standard.
Just some of the things that did not go down well:
1) We found hair twice - once on a plate at the breakfast buffet & once at the bottom of an acai bowl we ordered from the restaurant.
2) Room was not cleaned properly - stains leftover from previous lodger in room and toilet. Tissue box was empty by our second day, but not...

"Nous avons passé une très bon séjour dans le logement.
Nous avons été surclassés dans une villa très confortable.
L’endroit est calme , le petit déjeuner était parfait et le personnel très très gentil !
Merci particulier à EKA qui (tout comme le reste du personnel) était avenante, souriante et s’intéressait .
Tout le personnel était attentif !
Merci"
