"I paid £20 each for breakfast for 3 of us staying at the hotel, had to wait over 25 minutes for 3 cups to have a cup of tea, which we didn’t get as we had to leave to catch the train, no bacon or scrambled egg was replenished during that time .when I went to reception to ask for my £60:00 refund I was told I would have to email the manager to request this.

"Bedding, towels, bathrooms were all clean but the lodge itself needed a bit of TLC in places. Broome Park is a beautiful setting and the golf is amazing. Loved exploring the nearby areas.

"Hotel located right on the sea board in folkstone right near white cliffs of Dover and Dover castle. It has old charm feel to it. Staff were friendly throughout stay. Room was spacious with amenities. Room clean and bathroom spacious. Parking onsite and right nearby as well. Dining area on site. Loved the look and feel of the hotel. Would recommend!"

"Amazing location, would love to have visited in the summer with the proximity to the beach and nice walkways . Staff were very warm and friendly, everything was as described, check in was a breeze. The room was clean and seemed like it was very recently updated. The bathroom was nice, with a rain shower head. Parking is somewhat finicky, you need to hope you get a spot out front (paid parking 7 days a week from 8am-6pm) or park in a nearby underground garage. Due to an early start on check...
"Beautiful old building, with a slightly tired interior. We had a big, somewhat quirky, room with a nice view. The location, right across from the waterfront, was great. Not especially close to the train station, but still walkable (we did it). Breakfast was good."
"The accommodation was quiet , spotless and staff friendly and efficient. The breakfast ( included in the reasonable room rate ) was superb and there was so much choice.
Only 10 min pavement walk to the sea front and from the station . Also bus stop directly outside the hotel ( the Loop which runs til late evening every day ) ....every 10 to 15 mins if you don't want the walk.
There is a lift to the upper floors and we had really efficient aircon in our room.
We will definitely stay again ."

"I can not recommend this spot enough- first of all, every staff member is so warm and congenial. The room is beautiful, and the complimentary breakfast is table service (mind blowing to my American standards!). Being right in the Cathedral grounds puts you in the midst of everything but yet in a nice quiet oasis. Would come back just to stay here again."
