"This area is not served by Uber very well. Planning a taxi from the station is highly recommended; it’s a 15 minute hike up the mountain from the train station. Otherwise, we went on a Sunday and most businesses near by were closed. Hotel is really nice inside and room was great."

"A beautiful old palace turned into a hotel! Very tastefully decorated, the rooms have all the modern amenities you'd wish from a hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. Great breakfast buffet!"

"The location to the train station after a very long journey from Australia was a blessing. It is also not to far from all the city of Genoa has to offer. The check in staff (2 in particular very helpful others not so helpful but pleasant) room was clean and comfortable and we booked the small room which was still bigger than most hotel rooms in Europe. Highly recommend a stay and €5 Aperol & Campari Spritz's also add up to a win here."
