"Hygiene standards unacceptable:
Huge spots on carpets inside room and corridor (pets?)
Fresh towels had clumps of hair from previous use
Rooms not cleaned despite telling cleaning lady in corridor that it was available for her clean up.
Sent complaints with detailed report and photos and for a total room rate of $591 for 2 rooms was offered CSF 40.
Is this the value for basic hygiene at b smart?"
"Perfect verblijf, van de eenvoudige check-in tot de eenvoudige check-out. Zeer schone, ruime kamer (kamer 108, junior suite) die lekker koel was ondanks de hitte buiten. Gratis fruit en koffie & thee. Geen gebruik gemaakt van de sauna, maar zag er goed uit."

"The property was well located in the center of town and next to many places to walk to for museums, transportation and local activities. Very nice breakfast as well. I think they received some negative comments in the past about the room quality but we found that they have seemed to upgraded everything. Two issues to note. Ask if they are doing repairs on the hotel (we had construction on the rooms next too us that started early in the morning. The workers were quiet but we had them right...
"Die Lage vom Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön mit Blick auf die Berge. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Beim Frühstück hat es an nichts gefehlt. Leider gibt es kein Licht auf dem Balkon so dass man abends gemütlich draußen sitzen kann und zudem sind die Lüfter im Bad sehr sehr laut und laufen ewig nach. Beim Checkin wurde uns auch keine Gästekarte ausgehändigt womit man kostenlos den Bus nutzen kann. Leider haben wir dies nur von anderen Gästen...
"This hotel surpassed all expectations. The Mountain View room took our breath away and the entire hotel was spotless, yet cosy, and every little detail had been thought of. But none of this compares to the standard of every single staff member we met. Everybody was so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much bother. Exceptional service."
"This hotel is not a four star hotel. It is aged but most importantly lacks any show of being well managed. Everything has to be asked for (no third bed in room on arrival despite booking triple occupancy then no towels). The staff did not even put a refuse bin the room or a liner in the lavatory bin. Daily confusion over a table for breakfast was frustrating. Beware the layout as some builinga a considerable way from each other. Brand is a fabulous village, the Walliserhoff is not a fabulous...
"Wir waren rundum zu Frieden. Das Frühstück war perfekt. Abends wurden wir im Restaurant sehr gut bekocht und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. das Hotel ist gut gelegen und hat ein schönes Aussenrestaurant."
