"Batonka Lodge was booked as part of a package trip that we did to Africa. However, we extended our trip so stayed two additional nights at the Lodge. The lodge is small compared to some other places that have recently been built or being built but it was just right. It had a really cozy colonial feel to it. "Our home was spotless, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine came in handy, but no dryer (clothesline outside though). Beds were comfy, bathrooms excellent but one bathroom has just a tub, so we all had to share the shower in the other bathroom. Nicely decorated modern decor. The service/staff was EXCELLENT, super nice and helpful. Very secure with guards and a gated entrance (even though Vic Falls is incredibly safe). Was there 7 nights and it was like home away from home. Only issue...
