"We wanted a home base instead of moving around from one hotel to another while we explored this part of Ireland. The Dingle Skellig hotel is in the perfect location if you do not want to be in the center of all the activity. It’s a short ten minute walk to town. After a long day it was wonderful to unwind away from the noise. We requested a sea view room and enjoyed having coffee as we watched the world wake up. My only suggestion would be to change the carpet out for a more sustainable floor such as vinyl wood flooring as some carpet had stains on it but that is hard to avoid on white carpet. "What a special place. You immediately feel comfortable when you first walk in. The room we stayed in was large with plenty of space for 3 of us and a spectacular view. The pool was a nice bonus to soak in after a long day. It’s a short walk into town but far enough out that you aren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. "
