"5 stars. A perfect base for exploring Madrid. We stayed at Hotel Emperador on Gran Vía during our trip to Spain, and it was an easy choice. The location is hard to beat: right on Gran Vía, steps from Callao and Plaza de España, with great restaurants, tapas bars and cafes within a few minutes' walk. We walked to the Royal Palace and had breakfast, lunch and dinner within minutes of the front door. We got a room upgrade thanks to Expedia VIP and the room was wonderful! The staff were friendly...

"Muy bien ubicado"

"The downstairs lobby restrooms just need a little extra attention."

"The property is located in a rough part of town and the interior rooms are extremely noisy. The property is clean and the staff are great. It's just too expensive for what you're getting."

"We paid extra to get the rooms earlier to sleep - reasonably priced and key accommodation. Sheets had to be changed - handled quickly. Breakfast slightly expensive for limited choice in fruits and healthy choices - too many sweets, comparatively."

"Staff at the check in desk, she was very helpful and kind."

"Buffet breakfast was the best part. The front desk team was very accommodating and helpful. Our hats off to Paolo, Marco, and Jonathan."

"Everything was good but after checking out I received a withdrawal letter of 25 Euros with I did not ask for something from the room service and was communicating with the hotel several times and still do not respond"
