"After a disastrous stay in the Northampton Ibis (old, tatty, noisy, hot) I thought I’d give the Mercure a whirl. Fractionally more expensive, it was everything that the Ibis is not. Fresh, up-to-date room, quiet, cool (aircon), comfortable bed. I’ll make the Mercure my new Northants base."

"Breakfast, swimming pool and spa were excellent.
One issue was how hot it was overnight. It was one of the hottest days of the year and the room fan was not able to cope. It would have helped to open the window but that was restricted.
Overall it is great hotel but I will think twice about going in August."
"We had a lovely 2 night stay. The food was excellent with a nice choice on the menu. The breakfast was buffet style with so much to choose from. There is also a coffee machine with tea bags etc by the terrace. The room was adequate. We both found the bed and pillows comfortable. The bathroom was nice, although the sink needed some bleach or something to get rid of the mouldy smell. Accommodation overall was good, although I definitely wouldn't call it a 'superior' double, just double would be...
"Front desk staff Bobby was very helpful during check in and throughout our stay. Mandy and Karen in the restaurants were amazing as we had the pleasure of seeing them daily, made of feel very welcome. The chefs made breakfast, lunches and evening dinners very nicely, and the food was all top shelf. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay, and would definitely stay at your location when we are next in Milton Keynes"
"Nice stay for 4 nights visiting Silverstone. Would happily stay there again.
Room was generally clean but very basic. No hotel information in the room, corners of the bathroom floor were grubby and one of the window latches were broken. However, the room was serviced every day and bins emptied, towels refreshed and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Cooked breakfast was excellent!!

"Room was clean and staff worked to keep it so. Staff were good at providing a decent service and giving advice. No problem with parking although I do not think it was full up whilst we stayed there. Habe stayed at the inn 3 times and have always been satisfied with way were treated. For the future feel that the inn could benefit by introducing air conditioning."
