"Great stay, off season "

"We were upgraded to a suite with a beautiful fjord view. It was very handy for the local bus which stopped outside the hotel and a ferry which used the hotel pier. There was no information about the hotel or facilities in the room and it lacked signs to the facilities. We ate at out in the evenings as the buffet was expensive and had to be prebooked plus there was no detail about the choice of food at buffet. midweek this was still tricky as the only other place serving evening meals closed...

"Generally, excellent. Spacious accommodation, great service, unbeatable location, but whilst prices are expected to be higher due to the level of comfort/service, bar prices are excessive and bar food quality is not as good as on previous visits."

"In September there is no staff at the front desk and it took 5 calls for us to figure out where our apartment was located and how to check in. I wish they had sent me an email a few days in advance with detailed instruction and door codes. Old resort hotel, met our needs."
