"Very central within CBD & extremely large motel with huge amount of rooms.
Rooms are in need of updating, (I have stayed in worse) but this was okay, bed comfortable, great tv, shower had great pressure & parking was great ..
Cost of my room included breakfast which was good & had a reasonable array of food for breakfast.
Overall I would use this motel again as pricing was about right for the standard of rooms, but needs a little bit of TLC
Staff were very helpful and obliging also."
"Room was clean, staff were understanding and underground parking definitely worth it. Price for the room was overpriced in my opinion. Each to their own. Overall a good place to stay."
"I came to Ballarat to stay close to the lake (and see the Olympics display), and this property did the trick. No frills, simple room, but it worked for my stay. It was also within walking distance to a grocery store, which worked out well for my budget."
"Séjour parfait ! Chambre confortable, accueil sympathique, piscine agréable et calme appréciable ! Le sentier qui fait le tour du golf offre des points de vue exceptionnels..."
"A really convenient location easy to get to many of Ballarat's sights. The room was spacious and clean. Everything you need was there.
The checkin process was easy as was checkout.
The pool looked great as did the other amenities.
The only thing that bothered us which was'nt a huge deal but it was the rooms outside light stays on at night and a big glow comes through the glass panel of the door."
"The staff were great to deal with and able to extend our stay the day before we arrived.
The location was good with easy access and safe parking
The room was spacious with a comfortable clean bed and large fridge freezer.
The bathroom was also spacious with a roomy shower with abundant hot water and pressure.
The fittings in the bathroom were shonky with the roll holder falling off along with a towel rail, these could be easily fixed.
We would stay again."
"Amazing stay. The room was beautiful and possibly the cleanest I’ve ever encountered. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar staff were incredible at making cocktails and the restaurant served the best lamb I’ve ever had. Would 100% stay here again!"
"I think the photos give the impression that this property is a little more "together" than it actually is. Whilst the bed linen and towels were on point and the bedding itself very comfortable, I'm afraid everything else was old, tired and mismatched making it feel more like someone else's holiday shack than simple cottage. The equipment in the kitchen is mismatched and hodge-podge and very minimal. Bring everything if you plan on cooking here, including utensils and oil etc. No milk was...
"This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave.
The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!"
