"Solid choice in a city without much. If you're looking for solid, clean, yet straightforward accommodations without surprises, it is a good choice. Many others are funky and falsely advertised."
"Lovely view from the room. Comfortable bed, and clean hotel.Friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. We would recommend this hotel and would like to stay again in the future."
"Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building, with yes a little patina around the edges. If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available. The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales, and a huge car park."

"Definitely one of the best Hotels we’ve stayed at. The hosts were amazing and their attention to detail and care exceptional. A very enjoyable stay and will definitely book again if we visit Llanymddyfri."
" An excellent stay overall. Our room was very comfortable and pleasant. Common kitchen area a bit chaotic but ok. Easy to find and convenient for Brecon. Would return."
