"The high point was the courteous & efficient receptionist (Maria?) at check in.
Bar & restaurant were substandard & the staff poorly trained -starter, salad, main were all brought at one time and dumped on the table; wine slopped into the glass like at a village bar on the Camino, which we had just finished. We had booked two nights ‘nice’ hotel after the Camino, planning to just relax in the hotel, but after the first experience with the bar & restaurant we had all our subsequent meals...
"Location of this hotel is near perfect. It’s in the middle of the old city, almost midway between Plaza Mayor (where the cathedral is) and the aqueduct. You can walk to nearly any point within 10 minutes.
If arriving by taxi or uber, be advised cars are not allowed on the road in front of the hotel, so no door-to-door service. The car will drop you off, however, about 200 meters (650’) away on a side street. Careful, the hotel has two entrances and of course we went to the wrong one (it’s for...
"Nice rooms, very few amenities, no coffee in the rooms, Outdoor pool was not open yet, but looked ready, (34 degrees outside. People sitting in the lawn, lounge chairs weee locked up , asked to pay 12 euros each to use the indoor pool!!!
Was once a nice hotel, a little dated and will nickel and dime you.

"The standard room sold by Expedia is directly on the highway but customers are sold a tranquil “nature experience.” It is the opposite of a “nature experience”. The hotel should inform customers in advance that the rooms sold by Expedia are on the highway so they know they will hear traffic all night. The reception is as unhelpful and charged me twice. Bad experience. Also paint peeling in the bathtub."
"Amazing property! We loved everything - the art, beautiful furniture, woodwork, pool and the breakfast. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and have great recommendations. Easy parking. Big room. Friendly restaurant and bar staff too. Loved everything minute of it and can’t wait to return."
