"A very central and pleasant place to stay, with lovely views. Well maintained property with very friendly and welcoming hosts.. delicious breakfasts. Only 1 complaint - no air conditioning, although there is a fan in the room/"

"The room was outstanding as were the staff. A very very nice place to stay. "

"Fantastic location. Amazing staff, a unique dining experience. Highly recommended for a 2-3 night min stop over."

"It was definitely away from the city but worth the trip for the surroundings and the view of the ocean. "

"Been to Knysna now on many times, stayed in various types of accommodation within the town, very impressed with this hotel, ideal for walking around town, the marina and it's location is great, ideal for walking to many of the towns restaurants' and bars. Would certainly recommend this hotel. Staff were really helpful, breakfast was fine although there are many cafe's around the hotel should one want any alternative breakfast, although what we had was fine."

"Quiet when we went"

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."

"What an incredible experience at Alkantmooi!! From the first contact we had at the reception with the friendly and helpful staff, to the impeccably neat and modern room, we absolutely LOVED our night here! The best part is the tranquility of the reserve and the drop-dead gorgeous view of the Keurbooms lagoon. WOW!! We will definitely be back... and stay longer next time ;)"

"Beautiful setting and stunning pool "

"We had a wonderful stay! Great location with beautiful view of beach. "

We had to go to bed and sleep with constraint scratching and sliding noises, that was terrible. When we brought it to the attention of the team, they didn’t even bother apologising. The dinning experience over dinner and breakfast was terrible - worst service I’ve seen for a while and average food (it’s quite expensive considering its surroundings). Stay...
