"The Grand Hotel Telese looks the part. An old grande dame of a hotel with lovely entrance and great hall. It was good for kids, lovely pool and the receptionist was warm and friendly. The rooms were fine and clean.
Dinner let it down badly. There's only one place to eat on site, and no one was around to take our order, despite having booked a time and it being quiet. When the food came, it was bland and missing ingredients you'd expect from the dish as described on the menu. When we raised it...
"L'hotel si trova vicino ad una zona ben servita. In 10/15 minuti si arriva alla stazione ferroviaria e alla reggia , a piedi. Nella via parallela ci sono diversi locali di ristorazione. Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile. Per la colazione, per evitare sprechi , si è segnato alla sera prima quali tipologie di cibo si desiderano. Poi comunque nella sala sono adisposizione frutta, cereali, marmellate. La camera è spaziosa , mobilio nuovo, frigor, tv aria condizionata, balconcino. Bagno...
"Very nice hotel. We appreciated the ease with conversing with the staff in English. The restaurant offered a great selection, both with the included breakfast and ala carte dinners. Food was delicious and reasonably priced."
"It was very clean and the staff were wonderful considering that in this massive hotel we 6 people in my group were the only occupants! Sort of felt like the hotel in The Shining! We were told we were the last guests before it is turned into a college campus. Not sure if this is true or not. There was not a king size bed anywhere in this “hotel” and my upgraded room had a view of the dead trees and plants in the courtyard. No pool and all gym equipment had been removed.

No me gustó la pisina,la lona que recubría por dentro la piscina estaba rota y sucia y le daba la sombra.Muy pocas tumbonas.
La mampara de la ducha de la habitación estaba vieja y sucia.
La habitación no tenía terraza ni donde secar bañadores y toallas."
