"Check-in was easy, and the kitchen was nicely equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, I did have to unload the dishwasher from the previous occupants before I could find the coffee cups.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The shower curtain had visible mold on it, which seems like a relatively inexpensive and easy issue to address. The dressers were also dusty and gave the impression that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned before our...
"The space was clean and very well appointed. We had 2 couples and 3 singles and everyone had their own bedroom and connected bath. Great space. We called quest services few times for routine matters and everyone was very pleasant and knowledgeable. "
"NO A/C; NO beach access; NO 2nd full bath; hazardous steps to entrance; ants in fridge; centipedes everywhere inside unit; several miles from anything & no water view or access; found full, moldy dehumidifier in closet then cleaned and set it up - emptied it several times a day despite 50 pint capacity; recent remodel was shoddy; knobs falling off cabinets; bathroom floor stopped short of vanity, causing injuries in the middle of the night; broken blinds for no privacy from road just feet from...
"The main problem was with the rental company. They had the incorrect password listed in the notebook. When we called them, they kept saying it was correct and saying they’d get back with us. Over several hours they never re-contacted us. We’d have to constantly contact them. We were able to figure out the password which was different than the one they had listed."
"The customer service was excellent when we had to call about a question on the code. The person was friendly and resolved our question immediately. The area was quiet and the view was beautiful!"
"The property is quite old and had a noticeable musty odor upon arrival. Unfortunately, it did not have central air conditioning, and the rooms were equipped only with portable units, which made it uncomfortable—especially since my family and I were preparing for a funeral and needed to get ready in the heat. There was also no cable TV available during our stay.
Additionally, we experienced two lockouts. The first occurred due to a change in the access passcode, which we were not informed about...
"Overall enjoyed the stay. Would recommend a king size bed in the upstairs master bedroom, a new bed in the main level master, and a bed be put in the basement bedroom instead of a futon. The water pressure for flushing toilets was not good and there was a sewage smell coming out of the hot tub drain. Parking was a little precarious and dangerous backing up and turning around on a hillside, also getting into the driveway was difficult even will 4wD we were spinning tires."
"This was our absolute favorite place!!!! So beautiful! Lots of space ! Loved that we could enter through garage to keep our winter clothes out there!"
