"It is a kilometre away from city centre but if you walk a half a kilometer, you will find restaurants, they just won’t have the same energy as the city center, which if you’re looking for a quiet environment is perfect. The staff were super friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for an out of this world experience."

"We had a week at Alonissos for our honeymoon and started our stay at Marpounta. We looked forward to a relaxing experience with all inclusive chilling on some sunbeds. For this purpose the hotel was perfect. But the stay started quite disappointing. Since it was our honeymoon I wanted the hotel to arrange a small attention for our arrival at the room. "Lots and lots of steps and ramps. Not a hotel for someone who needs extra help to get around Golf carts help but it still not to the beach. Beach is beautiful but small. Lots of steps to get down to beach. Plain beach chairs that fill up quickly Breakfast was lovely, pool was beautiful. Dinner was good one evening. Bed was hard but similar to other places. View was amazing. Wonderful front desk "
