"Qubus Hotel sets a high standard in the quality of hotel accommodation. Service is friendly, and in the main, very helpful. The rooms are excellent, well appointed and comfortable - apart from the far too common European practice of using the bathtub as a shower recess, which I really do not like at all. I have stayed in the Qubus Hotel in Gdansk 16 times between 2013 and 2017 and the standard was always consistently high. There are noticeable changes in the standard of service experienced...

"Good location next to Railway station. Reception service was very friendly and helpful when we checked in - and Mateusz was interesting and engaging company when we sat in reception with a beer (after we got back too late for the bar - which closes at 10pm on Sundays). The only negative was the radiators in the bedroom which were on at night and we couldn't turn them off. We should have raised this after our first night, but at first thought it was just the fact that it was very warm weather...

"Situated close to old town, river, good choice of places to eat and drink and supermarkets on every corner just about! . We had an apartment on floor 6, it was lovely and spacious, good size balcony, view out over river and otherside of town. Very quiet first couple nights. Not sure if there are permanent residents in the block.... Fridge wouldn't open and was fixed straightaway. Only thing missing in kitchen was a teatowel as didn't need to use dishwasher as only used glasses, cups as ate out....

"Hotel OK, but it's not a 4* hotel. I would rate it as a standard 3*, form room and breakfast point of view. Contact with reception very poor. I was trying to call them to open the garage but nobody was picking up. When i said that I was trying to call them couple of times to let me in the garage (additonal payment) i got answer that they did not have time to answer the call... Well..."
