"Great hotel"

"The Parador de Limpias is in a lovely old building with modern ‘wings’ added - we were not too sure if the modern architecture matched the historic original architecture - however, everyone has their own taste in architecture. The Parador is ideally located for the short drive back to the Santander Ferry Terminal. Our room was lovely (but no tea/coffee making equipment) and the staff were charming. "Some reviewe have mentioned this place feels dated - but i found it wonderful and quite the bargain. Huge room, very modern bathroom, mattress fine, clean as can be. Very helpful and friendly staff - especially Santiago at front desk. The carpets are worn, but other than that it is a gem. You would pay 3x the price to get such a spacious bathroom and room in a more modern hotel. Outstanding location"
