"Hotel got 2 onsen, both with outdoor onsen. The one on 1F was so relaxing in a green setting. Rooms n amenities provided have also exceeded expectation. Hotel provides shuttle service from JR station, but very limited timing. Nonetheless, will stay again when in Takayama"

We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Breakfast the following day was also a divine work of art. Highly recommend Soki Kanazawa. Hotel, facilities, staff and restaurant all excellent. Well and truly exceeded our expectations. "

"First time in a Ryokan and the experience was excellent. We were unsure about sleeping on futons on a matted floor but it was surprisingly comfortable. I thought the onsen was excellent. Very well maintained and the water and the pool were fantastic."

"An amazing place and experience. We had private indoor and outdoor onsen in the room and used it a few times as it was really convenient. Our hosts for the two nights, Natalie and Mizu, were extremely helpful and friendly. The meals, all in a private room, were excellent and gave us an authentic experience of Japanese breakfast and dinner cuisines. "

"Nice hotel in a convenient location to tourist sites. Large rooms. Staff was helpful in making dinner reservations (a must if you hope to get in anywhere for dinner). Breakfast was a nice spread of Japanese and western. "

"This is a wonderful place to spend a few days. The ryokan is very authentically Japanese. The staff was helpful wherever we needed them. The food Is good, though our best meals were in restaurants in Takayama. Most of all, the hot springs are AWESOME. The water is so thick with minerals, so rich. We didn’t want to leave."

"Came here with my husband and mother. A little sad that there was no view surrounding this ryokan. Unlike the ones I stayed in while I was in Hakone and Sapporo. This inn is small and has limited facilities (but it is enough.) Room was spacious and the futon was very comfortable to sleep in, staffs helped prepare the futons for us to rest efficiently.
