"Great stay in Madrid. Nice big room, with comfy sofa bed for our son. Hotel is next to a metro station (circle loop line) so easy to get around Madrid. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool was a bit small and the water quite cold though If looking specifically for a hotel with a pool then you might be disappointed with the Claridge’s pool. Everything else was great…"

"We stayed at the Only You Atocha twice. The location is by Atocha station, El Retiro and the Museums, which was perfect for us. We walked into center city for other attractions. Everyone was lovely. We were frustrated when we wanted dinner and rooftop (which is really lovely) was closed for a special event and a waitress didn’t know what all was available but the manager stepped in and was fantastic. The layout of the place is different. We really liked the hotel."

"This was my second time in this hotel, so can only repeat my first review really - very helpful staff, excellent location (very close to Atocha rail station and several key underground stations). As I was out very early I did not book breakfast so cannot comment on that aspect. One footnote, though, and this is not a reflection on the hotel itself but worth knowing: this time round the room was on 5th floor and guests on both sides of my room had been making "conversation" loudly until almost 1AM - so make sure you pack ear plugs, but even with those I found it impossible to sleep until the "discussions" at insane volume died down (and in totally ignorant fashion - they were either hearing-impaired or just completely ignorant of being in a hotel...). It seems that even in 4-star hotel one can easily find people who behave as if they never stayed in a hotel."
