"Great location to see both Castles. Great views and lakes nearby to walk or hike. Staff excellent. Breakfast superb and ours was included. Main restaurant was so so for the price. Cocktails were great. Try the beer garden or local cafe for better food for less. Definitely walk around the lake for amazing vistas, clean air and the clearest lake I’ve ever seen. "

"We came for a week of rest and found it here. Service was courteous and we especially enjoyed getting to know some of the waitstaff whom were more interactive with us and our dog. Very pet friendly hotel! The views were spectacular as we were able to enjoy a beautiful winter snowscape and as the weather warmed, we saw peeks of green and the beautiful color of the lake. "First off, walked into our room and was greeted by an amazing view of the Alps which was even visible from the shower! The property was amazing, the restaurants superb and the staff were exceptional. My wife took full advantage of the Spa and heated pool while I was partial to the Skybar. The only thing we missed was air conditioning or maybe a ceiling fan but we were able to keep the balcony door cracked at night to get cool air. "This is a beautiful spa resort. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Lovely restaurant and bar, lovely pool and spa area, free use of bicycles, and great location near Fussen, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves and we would definitely return."

"Fantastic hotel! Lakeside does not mean lake view and the light in the bathroom is not adequate for applying makeup, but the service is great and there are lots of great things to do in the area. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The pools and sauna area were lovely and the bathrobes and pool bag were a nice touch. The Haldensee is an easy walk from the hotel. On the high end for cost, but a nice vacation retreat for friends and families. "
