"Absolutely amazing and highly recommend! From the friendliness/helpfulness of the staff, to the cleanliness of the property and all the amenities, everything was perfect! 10/10!!! The staff spoke or understood english which made communication very easy, they have a shuttle bus that will take you wherever and pick you up, free coffee/tea/juice in the lounge, free laundry (2 washers/dryers, dryers take 1-2 hours to dry). We stayed in one of the suites and it had complimentary drinks in the fridge, tea/nespresso on the counter and some arima onsen cookies! The staff gave us a tour of our room during our check in and showed us how to book hot springs. There’s 8 total to choose from (4 indoor/4 outdoor), you can book your first session immediately at check in then once you’ve used your reservation you can immediately book your next one through a QR code. Highly recommend outdoor #2/#4, they were our favorites! We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect. Again, I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Arima onsen area!!! Thank you for making our honeymoon special!"

"Lovely Japanese-style hotel with every amenity you could want: free coffee, onsen, laundry, robes, etc… Spacious, clean rooms. Loved the massage I booked! (As a side note: restaurants in the area close very early. We arrived after 7 pm and had no dining options. Apparently there is dining at the hotel restaurant if you book it as a package? We didn’t add it at the time of booking so we were left with dinner options from the mini mart across the street. Word to the wise. )"

"Gorgeous property. There were beautiful ikebana flower arrangements in the hallway when we arrived as well as delicious smelling incense being burned in the hallway the rooms that we stayed in were absolutely gorgeous and spacious the breakfast and dinner. Kaiseki was phenomenal. We got served different food for a day one and day two so the variety was very well thought out and curated. It was probably the best meals that we had in our time in Japan. They also offer a free shuttle, which is very convenient as it is quite a steep walk up and down the hill the public baths were also beautiful and very well maintained the service from the staff was professional, and extremely thoughtful. I asked about the ceramics that were used to serve our dinner and before we checked out the front desk concierge had printed out a summary page about the kind of ceramics that the ryokan used for serving food. I absolutely loved the nest space where you could get a coffee or a tea and sit around and read books that were carefully curated for you. There were also some postcards that you could use to write to someone back home. It is an absolutely gorgeous space and I really hope to come back again soon. Major shout out to one of the Hotel staff that is from the United States. His English was perfect and he was very thoughtful and helpful for us during our stay. Our server for the kaiseki was also fantastic. She was very sweet and thoughtful and professional."
