"I think it was all an engineering issue. Entering the hotel, the lobby was un-airconditioned which made checking in a sweaty , uncomfortable affair. Apparently the engineering team switches that off as energy saving. Entering the room, 2 essential light bulbs were broken, the entry hall and the bathroom. Finally, the air-conditioning was so noisy that it was almost impossible to sleep. Dirty filters and small outlets. It was convenient but I would never choose it again."

"Easy fast check in, Guy at reception was friendly and helpful, clean room, comfy bed, great shower but couldnt get channels on T.V but was ok with me as I just slept. "

"The carpet squares were falling apart. There was mold in the shower grout. The shower faucet was limited to dispense only Luke warm water. I would not stay again. "

"Limited reception hours and unanswered contacts to the ‘manager on duty’ meant we were unable to use WiFi nor obtain milk and clean towels. The once sparkling White Lace Motel is now tired and shabby and sadly like a lot of motels, seemingly being let run down by inattentive and disinterested owners… sorry to say!!!"

"Clean room. Great location. Had everything we needed. Communication was fantastic as we had a late check in. Very helpful when my child got sick and we needed the hospital and a bit for time in our room. Highly recommend for your stay in Mackay. Easy access to everything. "
