Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. Great view of Perugia from across the valley, and the city itself is only a few minutes away (although it's one of the more maze-like experiences to try to get into the city center.) Wi-Fi works well, although it's broken into a handful of small zones, owing I...

The service was excellent and very friendly. Staff assisted with winery visit bookings and dinner recommendations and bookings. Room was spacious and well appointed. The only negative was the housekeeping staff failed to stock toilet paper and soap so requests had to be made when we ran out. Should also note that the building is interesting given it’s centuries old. The mix of old and new made it aesthetically appealing. The restaurant that shares the space was top notch. We would definitely...

The castle is absolutely beautiful, the staff are great, and uts a freaking castle in the mountains of Italy! The AC didn't work, luckily the weather was great, but July/august could be rough. Day trips to Assisi and Orvieto were amazing, but you must have a rental car. Breakfast was very good. The spa was good. The room was small, but the view made up for it.

We loved our stay here. The property is beautifully maintained and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the Town Center with shops and restaurants is a short walk away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with many options available.

Il Sogno di Davide is truly a dream come true! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely wonderful. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful scenery and just a short distance from the charming town of Assisi. The rooms are stunning, beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The service is exceptional, with such warmth and attention to detail that makes you feel genuinely welcomed. Waking up to the peaceful surroundings and enjoying a...

Great boutique hotel in central location. Staff supper friendly and the rooms were great

My husband and I stayed here on our first part of our two week trip through Europe. What a great start to our honeymoon. They gave us the honeymoon suite, we had gorgeous views of the rolling hills of Italy. We were so close to the centre of town and walked there one night of our stay. We went for the gusto wine tour, which was an amazing time. But you can see my review on trip advisor for that. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, so nice and friendly! The good there was incredible. We had...

This is a 5 Star hotel! The room was lovely with wonderful amenities; the grounds were beautiful and spacious; the staff was very welcoming, helpful and professional; and the food was delicious! I hope to return someday and highly recommend this property! ❤️

This is a lovely hotel close to the center of Perugia. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was immaculately clean. The view over the city and into the Umbrian countryside was lovely. We were very happy with everything the hotel had to offer.

Assisi is an old world town. The hotel has wonderful views! The restaurant was excellent, dessert looked like art and tasted incredible!
