"WE had to make an emergency stay at the last moment. Pleasantly surprised at how beautiful Tropis is. The grounds were beautful. The rooms were very nce and the Staff was extremely courteous. Speaking English to guide us through an already frustrating day. The price per night may be a bit on the high-end, but absolutely worth every penny!"

"Beautifully decorated with great rooms and bathrooms. Streets leading to the hotel are very narrow and may not accommodate larger vehicles. Parking is offsite at a municipal lot, but they do provide a shuttle."

"The property itself is gorgeous. The only downsides are 1. food on resort is a bit of a miss (not enough simple, local dishes in favor of fancy over-the-top dishes ) although breakfast was lovely and 2 you have to have a car to get to Tropea as the resort is isolated and there is not much to do in terms of activities or entertainment. If the weather is nice, you are in for a treat because their beach staff is impeccable and their grounds are breathtaking."

"You won't find more friendly staff members at any hotel. From the front lobby to the cleaning staff, everyone made us feel like we were family, photos were taken upon our departure. The hotel is conveniently located on the main road into the city from the train station located less than 10 minutes away. The rooms are interesting, ours included hand painted frescoes on the walls. Breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice served by staff who truly feel proud of their hotel. Tropea...

"Stayed here one night. Felt safe and our car stayed in the garage which is gated. Big bathroom small shower. It was 3 of us and each of us stayed in a twin. Too small for us but one night worked. Big complaint was no ac. It was hard to sleep since i was hot. If we opened the window no screen to stop any bug. Breakfast could be way better. It was limited. Over all though i liked it and neighborhoods was quiet. P.S. bring cash to this town if you are american. Was hard to pump gas since it didn't...

"Overall a nice property but like many other hotels in southern Italy, even when hot they would not turn on the AC. They wait until some later date. This made the nights quite uncomfortable. Otherwise, things were very good."

"The resort fees were added were not needed as its just a pool there. The xtra for towels were ridiculous. With that said the resort itself and the shuttle sea were very nice convenient "

"Honestly, the quality of the facilities just weren’t very nice and the logistics to get in and out of the room more challenging to say the least. The breakfast was good but the room had the worst mattresses I’ve ever slept off. The linens all need to be upgraded, the shower is the smallest shower ever. "
