"Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Die Hoteldirektion führte uns durch das Haus und die spannende Geschichte dazu. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade und fühlten uns wie Adlige. Danke dafür."

"I expected a staffed boutique hotel, especially given its confusing layout. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and found no staff present. The four pages of check-in instructions were entirely in German, and the entrance we were directed to use was not working. This made getting inside and locating our room unnecessarily difficult. I booked a studio suite so my daughter could sleep on the pull-out sofa, but no linens were provided. Since no staff were available to assist us, we had to take bedding from...

"Staff was wonderful. Easy access and great location."

"Dies ist unsere Meinung, und soll nicht beleidigend und oder herabwürdigend sein: Ich bitte bei der nächsten Prüfung durch die WKO Fachgruppe, für das sogenannte Romantik Hotel Elixhausen die Standards eines 4 Sterne # Superior# genauestens zu überprüfen. Unter Romantik verstehen wir etwas ganz ganz anderes…. Der sog. Wellness Bereich ist eine Zumutung total veraltet….. "The hotel room was so small; my wife, baby, and I were in the room, and it was too small for us. The hotel charged us for the baby bed 45 euros per night, although it was confirmed by Expedia that the baby bed is free of charge, there was missunderstanding as they mixed between two reservations and we didn't get the right room for us, the Hotel rated 4 stars but there was no elevator and i have to carry or luggage to the first floor and go on stairs, there was no tooth brush, Sanitary kit,...

"Wow, just wow! Staying at the Gelsberg am Alm hotel is a great experience! If you only plan to visit Salzburg once in a lifetime, you cannot be wrong by staying here. It's located 15 min driving from the Salzburg centre, and what an awesome panoramic view of Salzburg and the majestic mountains you get by staying here! The room was spatious and clean, with access to the balcony. The location in the forest ensures you get peace and quiet. Everything perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. And...

"Great hotel. We stayed in Fuschl to easily access the Salzkammergut area. The hotel has great amenities such as an arcade. It even has a piano you could play. Staff was friendly and helpful. Note Fuschl does not really have a lot of restaurants and the convenient store barely opens - so it simply wasn't a base for lunch/dinner for us. The hotel has dinner but we did not try. Also note there is no A/C. The night air was cool but we had to sleep with the balcony door open. Parking was...
