"Reasonable breakfast, underground parking (for a fee) and good staff. Also good location for touring Gibraltar. However, essentially no money has been spent to keep the place up to date. Stained hallway carpets, ancient room furniture, junky deck furniture. If you can find a better option, do it."
"Rooms were well presented. Only problem we had with room is that if you left any food out on counter, this would be attacked by tiny insects. Adults pool was good by closed earlier than advertised on signage. Bar by restaurant and pool had limited stock of drinks due to becoming end of the season."
"The hotel was beautiful but after a long day exploring we arrived back to find the pool and hot tub closed. 7:00 pm closure seems early. That was a huge disappointment."

"We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during our stay in Costa Del sol this Oct. Lucia, at the front desk, was great and very kind and professional-after some issues with house keeping cleanliness in our first room upon Check in, she moved us to a corner suite which was spotless. The atmosphere at the hotel is calm and relaxing as it is mostly adults, and we had a good stay in general. But some things fell short for us:

"The hotel is okay for a business trip but is located very close to several main roads so
you hear the traffic noise. The room and beds were comfortable and clean. The water supply stopped during our stay for nearly 24 hours and the hotel were poor on providing any information. My wife had to ask for some drinking water which the staff were unwilling to provide until she insisted. The other issue was the toilets couldn't be flushed so there was a bad smell around the hotel.
The breakfast...
"Wonderful accommodations and great value. Room was nice, great balcony and access to indoor terrace. Only issue was with access to other restaurants, couldn’t walk to anything. However onsite restaurant was excellent and good value so was happy with that as well."
"Great place to stay and staff were very helpful with any queries and helping to book a taxi when uber failed. Comfy beds and clean rooms. The only point I could make was there could have been a been a bigger selection at breakfast"
"The location and facilities are good enough.
Despite the fact that the Hotel Hacienda has just recently opened, the efforts of the team that you can notice that there are sort of staff there. Special mention to Palma in Housekeeping and Rocio at reception :)
Castellar needed this hotel in the new town as there is another in the old town, about 15 minutes driving away.
Amenities in bathrooms are on demand * upon request*, but if there are bathrobes, they should be sleepers. We understand that...
