"We reserved parking which was next to the hotel. Breakfast was fresh European style. The king sized bed was huge- they put 2 twins together. Nice hotel. The elevator is really small it fit 2 people with 2 large pieces of luggage and that’s it. Staff very helpful. Would stay there again."
"Magical palace style property that was once the Summar place of a prominent and wealthy Genoa family right up to 1945.
It helpmed make our Italian trip something special. Has a lovely pool too!"
"Our room was a good size, bright and we had a beautiful ocean view. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We loved the "old school" elevator. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was delicious and breakfast was ample enough to keep us going till we ate again later in the day. "This is a nice affordable hotel to use as a home base to go see Portofino. Its 2 min from the train station so no need for a taxi and the ferry to Portofino is maybe 2 min from the hotel on the beach. The room was clean has a good AC system mini fridge nice soaps, everything you need. It was also pretty big for Italy standards. The staff cleans the room several times a day. The hotel has a pretty nice free breakfast that's included with you stay."
"Staff friendly and helpful. Clean room and quiet. Enjoyed being able to look out our window and see the beach! Great sunset view! Was so nice to have the delicious breakfast buffet with so many choices. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted fresh and was a definite plus for staying here! Shopping and restaurants within walking distance and the beach right across the street! Would highly recommend staying here!"
"This hotel needs a bit of love. It’s outdated but has lots of potential. The view from the restaurant is stunning. It’s walking distance to the train station but they offer a shuttle for 15€."
